It all started in 2006 when I found someone stealing my car. After calling 911 and working with the police to capture the car thief, I quickly realized I was ignorant of the law and what steps or actions could be taken to defend my property or myself. Could I use verbal commands to stop them from stealing my car? What about physical force? What would have happened if they attacked me? Worse yet, what if they had a weapon and attacked me? Would I have the skills, ability, and knowledge to defend myself? Would I have been legally justified to do so?
This event, and others, lead me to teaching concealed firearm classes. Fast forward to 2019 after spending countless hours reading books, articles, researching case law, talking with lawyers and police officers, analyzing videos, spending thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours in seminars and firearm classes, I found my passion. I LOVE teaching!
I love seeing the light in someone’s eyes when they “get it”. I love taking complex issues and boiling it down so anyone can understand. I love giving people the knowledge and confidence they need to get a concealed firearm permit in order to give them the option to carry a concealed weapon if they choose.
I have been teaching concealed firearm classes for over 6 years and have taught hundreds of students over that time. Classes have become so popular that they often fill up within a week.
All of my classes are FREE for anyone to attend. It doesn’t matter if you already have your permit and just want a refresher course, or if you’re not sure if you want a permit and just want to check it.
